Greetings Mappers:Welcome to beautiful Saratoga Springs and to the Sixteenth Annual Curriculum Mapping Institute and Academies. The major theme for our institute this year is Curriculum21: Mapping the Future for our Learners. You are part of a contingent from across the United States joined by educators from Australia, the Bahamas, Europe, New Zealand, Japan, Central America, and the Middle East. I am thrilled to have some of my good friends and distinguished colleagues presenting again this year. You truly have some of the best leaders in Quality Curriculum Design to guide you in these venues: * Workshops * Keynotes * Roundtables * Private Consultations Our conference is GREEN. Our website team, Earl and Trevor, have created a state-of-the art cyber-location for you to download materials, navigate the program, and interact with presenters: www.cmi2010.com. With wireless and numerous computer labs for participant use, we hope you will take advantage of learning with 21st century tools. The digital agenda allows us to avoid having massive booklets and pass the savings on to you. It also allows our presenters to add materials immediately in response to your questions in sessions. Most importantly, not only are we environmentally mindful but the presenters can POST any additional materials developed DURING a session for your edification.
Please enjoy the beauty of Saratoga Springs. We hope that you will use this Institute to challenge your thinking and to enjoy yourself! Sincere Best Wishes.
